Susan and Sheila were always on time, friendly, never seemed in a rush. They listened to what we wanted and showed us houses that fit our needs. During hurricane Harvey, they went by our house twice to be sure it did not flood. Then because of a moratorium on home owners insurance they got us an extension on our closing. Susan is a true realty pro. We came from out of state and had 30 houses to look at in two days. Susan took on the task with ease. She picked us up from the hotel, had snacks, and all of our houses for the day in a binder. Her attention to detail and knowledge of the area made our very stressful experience a good one. I don’t write reviews. Ever. Until now. I’m writing this review because Susan Patton and Sheila O’Bannon are not just wonderful realtors, they are extraordinary people. They helped me purchase a home last year. I had very specific needs and a tight timeline to find something. I have moved many times over the years and have dealt with all kinds of realtors. Susan and Sheila are top tier. They know their markets and are knowledgeable about the neighborhoods, subdivisions, and amenities within those markets. They are the consummate professionals. But it is their kindness and the way they invest themselves in your happiness that really sets them apart. Relocating to Texas from Oregon, I had no support system in place in Texas. My wife and I recently relocated our family to Texas from Arizona, and were fortunate enough to receive help from Susan in finding a home. Only months after hurricane Harvey with properties in all sorts of conditions; Susan was very transparent in where to look, what was affected by the storm, and what had the potential to being a bad investment in the future. Susan was on time to every meeting, and was well prepared. Having children of her own, she had an extensive knowledge of the education system and what schools offered the best curriculum. Running out of time and having homes we were interested in fall through, we were left returning home without securing a house to come back to. Susan in our absence worked tirelessly through the Holiday season and came through for us in a big way. When others would have moved on or made an easy sale, she had our best interests in mind. We recently moved from Rhode Island all the way down to Texas and Susan made the process extremely easy for us! She was full of knowledge every step of the way, she was always quick to respond to our emails and answer our phone calls (we actually don't even know what her voicemail sounds like, because she always answers!), and it became clear to us very early on that she had our best interest in mind. We're a young couple buying our first home and knew close to nothing about the process - we definitely couldn't have done it without Susan! She helped us find our dream home, taught us so much about the house buying process with unending patience (including negotiating, of course), and has continued to help us with various things since we moved in. Throughout the process, it was evident that she had many years of professional real estate experience and this, paired with her friendly demeanor, helped us feel confident in her ability to get us into our dream home. The Patton's go above and beyond with great service and performance. Susan and Roger are the best. They helped my parents find their home and now helped my wife and I find a great home, our first home! Roger is very hands on ready to inspect anything and check all your appliances, ac, structure integrity, etc and Susan will really help filter out a lot of homes for the budget you’ve set. Makes it so much easier than looking on Zillow or HAR just on your own. They got us in touch with the best mortgage lender who is very patient with homebuyers especially since this was our first real go around with this. Susan will walk you through each home and help identify some things that maybe we would’ve missed or didn’t think about! Multiple sets of eyes is a huge key. I wouldn’t have asked for anything more from them and I still reach out to them with questions even though our home buying process is over. I would highly recommend them

Where do I even begin?! Last year we chose to relocate our family from California to Texas and while we were very excited about our new adventure, we were also incredibly nervous about choosing the right place to land. Moving is always stressful…moving with tweens and teenagers is on another level! I had researched and researched…and researched…before our house hunting trip but there’s only so much you can learn from the internet. The day we met Roger and Susan I knew we had found so much more than realtors, we had found friends. Their knowledge of the area (and especially the schools) was extensive-there were so many things they brought to our attention that hadn’t even been on our radar! They are incredibly honest and hardworking people-they genuinely care about our children and wanted to make sure they found the right community for us and them. At the end of the day we weren’t just buying a house, we were starting a new life and I am forever thankful that we had Roger and Susan to guide us. We have now officially lived in Texas for one year and we couldn’t be happier-our kids tell us weekly they wish we would have moved here sooner! Roger and Susan are an amazing duo!!! The process of finding a home and even a neighborhood when you are from out of state can be frustrating and difficult, but with this amazing couple they took the time to get to know our family and find the perfect neighborhood for us. We were moving to Texas and didn't know ANYBODY. Not only did we find 2 VERY talented individuals in Roger and Susan... but we found 2 folks we happily call our FRIENDS! In addition to their Real Estate Experience which is VAST, they have a network of suppliers to call upon for inspections, appraisals, repairs etc. Whether you are buying like we were or selling, I would use these folks 100 times over! They go the extra mile!!! EXAMPLE: We had a gap between when we closed on our new home in Texas and when we arrived... After a storm hit Texas that we saw on the news, we panicked... from many states away... I made one call to Roger.. and within hours of picking up his own branches... he went to our house to make sure it was OK. And, while checking on our house, he not only brought our new trash cans up to the house but picked up some branches in our yard too. You will love working with Roger and Susan like we did. Last but not least... they are some of the most honest people you can find.... an EXTREMELY important attribute in any walk in life.. but especially in Real Estate... You can TRULY count on these folks.. We should know...we've purchased 10 homes over 40 years and they were truly the very best we've ever experienced! THANK YOU ROGER AND SUSAN!
